Duties & Responsibilities:

• Dismantle, reassemble, repair, and replace major components of gasoline and diesel equipment using various hand tools and hoists.
• Conduct routine maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating equipment.
• Diagnose the nature and extent of equipment failures, and determine necessary repairs.
• Identify and document required parts and supplies for repair work.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed, including parts and supply usage.
• Ensure the quality, safety, and timely completion of tasks as directed by supervision, adhering to Brandenburg’s environmental and safety policies.
• Perform safety-sensitive tasks and manage work in personal protective equipment throughout shifts, including in adverse weather conditions.
• Utilize testing equipment, tools, and gauges effectively, and apply knowledge of electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience in heavy equipment repair.
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or ability to obtain one.
• Proficient in using maintenance manuals and understanding equipment mechanisms.
• Must pass a DOT Physical and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated organizational and communication skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Physical agility and coordination for climbing, kneeling, stooping, and working on uneven surfaces.
