A heavy civil construction group in Niagara Falls, ON, is hiring a certified 310T Fleet Mechanic to handle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs for on-site trucks and heavy machinery. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Inspect and diagnose vehicles, equipment, and components for defects, damage, or wear.
• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and preventative maintenance repairs.
• Order and track required parts and ensure timely procurement.
• Maintain accurate records, including daily maintenance logs and repair cost estimates.
• Test vehicles post-repair to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Ensure all vehicles meet provincial inspection standards and safety regulations.
• Work in both shop and outdoor environments, including exposure to weather.

Qualifications:

• Required:

  • Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician Certification with a clean driver’s license.
  • 3+ years of experience servicing trucks and/or heavy equipment.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools, service manuals, and repair procedures.
  • Ability to lift heavy components and work in physically demanding environments.

• Preferred:

  • Experience with snow removal equipment and related control systems (e.g., salters, spreaders, loaders, graders, and backhoes).
  • Familiarity with electronic and hydraulic systems.
