Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage daily fleet and transportation operations to support safe, reliable, and efficient service.
• Lead, coach, and support drivers and transportation staff while coordinating training and employee development.
• Oversee safety practices, regulatory compliance, incident response, and operational reviews.
• Monitor vehicle utilization, maintenance programs, and repair needs to support fleet reliability.
• Maintain required operational records, reports, and documentation while tracking fleet performance.
• Support staffing, scheduling, workforce planning, and positive working relationships with customers, employees, and business partners.

Requirements

• Required:

• • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation safety requirements and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple operational priorities in a fast-paced transportation environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational management systems.
  • Valid driver’s license.

• Preferred:

• • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
  • Leadership or management experience in transportation, fleet operations, logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience with vehicle maintenance programs, fleet performance metrics, employee training, safety programs, or compliance management.
  • CDL, depending on operational requirements.
