Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty fleet trucks in accordance with factory and industry standards.
- Perform minor and major repairs across mechanical, electrical, and brake systems to maintain safe and reliable operation.
- Complete preventative maintenance services, including inspections, fluid services, tire work/rotations, and general upkeep.
- Collaborate with the shop team to identify root causes, plan repairs, and verify vehicle performance after service.
- Inspect fleet vehicles to ensure DOT compliance, including brake inspections and required safety checks.
- Document repairs, inspections, and parts usage accurately in maintenance records and required daily reports.
- Monitor parts, tools, and supply inventory by checking stock levels and communicating needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment while following all company, DOT, and OSHA safety requirements.
Requirements

Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in fleet maintenance on heavy-duty trucks.
- Strong diagnostics and troubleshooting skills with repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical reference materials (equipment and repair manuals).
- Experience using diagnostic tools and basic computer applications.
- Strong attention to detail with a prompt, professional, and dependable work approach.
- Commitment to safe work practices and regulatory compliance.

$30.00 – $36.00/hour starting pay based on experience and qualifications.
