Job Description

A well-established and reputable employer is looking to add an Experienced and knowledgeable On-road Red Seal Mechanic to their team in Winnipeg, Manitoba. 

Technicians will be responsible for performing inspections, services, and repairs on Heavy-Duty Trucks, ensuring that all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.  Some work will be needed on some Heavy Equipment as well.

Qualifications:

• At least 5+ years of Heavy-Duty Diesel Truck repair experience
• Strong preference for technicians with On-road Red Seal 
• Strong electrical and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with diagnostic software 
• Experience with Mac Trucks and Cat equipment considered an asset
• Transmission work and knowledge of ABS Systems
• Proficiency in troubleshooting diesel engines and related systems.
• Previous experience and/or working knowledge of DOT inspections
• A Class 1 CDL is preferred, but not required 
• Own tools, valid driver's license, and clean driving record

Compensation

• $40.00 - $50.00/hour, depending on previous experience and training.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, Day Shift
• Flexible start times between 5:00AM and 11:00AM
• Ample opportunities for 10 or more hours of OT per week
