Job Description

Parts Counter Person are needed to join a growing team near Dewitt, Iowa. We're seeking candidates with a minimum of 3 year of experience working Parts counter in Motorsports, or Automotive, or Heavy Diesel. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist customers and service staff with identifying and ordering required parts.
• Pull, prepare, and process parts for shipment, delivery, or customer pickup.
• Maintain accurate records of special orders, backorders, and returns.
• Verify inventory availability and submit requisitions for out-of-stock items.
• Coordinate with outside sales reps and update them on order statuses.
• Receive incoming parts shipments and ensure proper stocking and tagging.
• Review aging orders and restock or return items as needed.
• Communicate with service personnel to ensure timely delivery of internal parts.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, reporting inventory discrepancies to management.
• Follow company policies on sales processing, credits, tax exemptions, and documentation.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of parts counter or OTC sales experience, preferably in a dealership or service environment.
• Strong customer service, multitasking, and attention to detail.

Shift Schedule:

• Day Shift, 7:30 AM - 5:00PM, Monday to Friday
• Rotating half days on Saturdays
• Additional working hours during busy seasons
