Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the parts department, including inventory, ordering, stocking, and distribution.
- Coordinate with service departments to ensure timely parts fulfillment and minimal vehicle downtime.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to monitor stock levels and reduce waste or overages.
- Develop supplier relationships and negotiate pricing/contracts to ensure competitive rates and quality parts.
- Manage, train, and support parts personnel to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align parts operations with overall dealership goals.
- Support and streamline parts operations across multiple locations.
- Visit customers monthly within the assigned territory to maintain relationships and service standards.
- Analyze sales and inventory reports to support profitability targets and process improvements.
- Stay current on industry trends, new parts offerings, and provide informed customer recommendations
Qualifications:

- Required:

- Proven experience managing an automotive or dealership parts department.
- Strong inventory management, purchasing, and cost control skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience using DealerTrack, Reynolds & Reynolds, or comparable DMS systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
- Preferred:

- ASE Certification.
- Familiarity with Advectus software.
- Knowledge of school bus parts and components.

Shifts

Day shift; Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM with a 1-hour break; overtime may be required based on operational needs.

Full-time, on-site role in Plainview, NY.

Compensation

$90,000 – $100,000 per year, plus high-value monthly commissions based on parts sales performance.
