Duties & Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, suspension, HVAC, and brake systems on buses.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all repair activities.
• Collaborate with other technicians to coordinate repair work and share technical knowledge.
• Stay current on bus technologies and attend training as needed.

Qualifications:

• Required:

  • 3–5 years of experience as a bus or medium/heavy-duty truck mechanic.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic systems.
  • Ability to read technical diagrams and service manuals.
  • Physical capability to handle manual labor and lift heavy components.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

• Preferred:

  • CDL Class B license.
  • Certifications such as ASE or related technical training.
