Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies for new and used school buses across public and private sectors.
- Utilize DMS/CRM tools (e.g., Advectus) for real-time sales tracking and customer relationship management.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve revenue and margin targets.
- Build strong client relationships with school districts, transportation departments, and bus contractors.
- Monitor market conditions and adjust pricing, bid strategies, and offerings accordingly.
- Manage OEM partnerships and maintain alignment with product inventory and promotions.
- Oversee bid submissions for public procurement and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate with internal departments (parts, service, finance) for seamless deal execution.
- Support marketing initiatives including trade shows, campaigns, and lead generation.
- Deliver regular performance reports, forecasts, and insights to executive leadership.
Qualifications:

Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in sales leadership roles, ideally in transportation or fleet industries.
- Familiarity with public procurement, bids, and state contract compliance.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license with clean record; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain.

- Background in school bus or commercial vehicle sales (Blue Bird, IC, or Thomas Built).
- Knowledge of EV infrastructure and electric bus sales strategy.

Shifts
- Day shift, Monday to Friday during standard business hours
- Full-time, onsite position based in Plainview, NY
- Occasional travel required for client meetings, OEM visits, and industry events
Compensation

$140,000 to $180,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
