Job Description
A leading equipment manufacturer near Ottawa, ON is actively seeking a Product Support Technician to join their growing team! If you have experience working with municipal sweepers, implement carriers, or complex hydraulic and electrical systems—this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Responsibilities:

Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting for mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and software issues

Assist customers and dealers via phone, video, and email to resolve technical concerns

Deliver hands-on operator and technician training at customer sites and dealer facilities

Conduct equipment demonstrations showcasing product features and capabilities

Perform pre-delivery inspections, support installations, and offer technical guidance in the field

Partner with internal teams to document recurring issues and improve training materials, TSBs, and service tools

Represent the company at trade shows and events by setting up, demonstrating, and presenting equipment
Qualifications:

3+ years in technical support, field service, or training (310s, 310t, or 421a)

Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and software systems

Experience with municipal/industrial equipment is highly preferred

Confident in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and using service manuals

Comfortable leading training sessions and troubleshooting in-person or remotely

Familiarity with Microsoft Office, CRM, and ERP systems (SAP Business One is a plus)
Compensation:
$80,000 – $100,000/year, based on experience and qualifications
Travel required up to 25% (North America) - Day Shift (typical 8 hour day)
