Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and major overhauls on gasoline, diesel, and electric-powered equipment.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and ignition systems.
- Repair or replace parts, including engines, transmissions, clutches, brake systems, and exhaust components.
- Conduct welding, fabrication, and machining using various equipment and techniques.
- Maintain and repair snow removal equipment such as sanders and plows.
- Operate service vehicles, dump trucks with trailers, and other fleet equipment.
- Track parts inventory, maintain shop equipment, and document work performed.
- Respond to emergency service calls and provide after-hours or on-call support.
- Support park operations, including facilities and equipment maintenance.
Requirements
- Required:
- 3+ years of journey-level experience repairing construction, lawn, or agricultural equipment.
- Proficient with gas, diesel, and electric engines and systems diagnostics.
- Formal or informal training in the maintenance and repair of fleet equipment.
- Must provide own tools and pass a criminal background check and DOT physical.
- Valid Colorado CDL Class B (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
- Ability to obtain two ASE certifications within one year of employment.
- Capable of lifting 100 lbs and working in variable conditions (noise, dust, confined spaces).
- Willingness to work shifts, nights, weekends, and be on-call.

Shifts
- Day Shift, Monday to Friday with flexible hours.
- Must be available for shift work, on-call duty, and occasional night or weekend shifts as needed.
Compensation

$28/hr – $40/hr (based on experience, certifications, and skill level).
