Job Description
Currently seeking an Experienced RV Technician position in Bend, OR involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of recreational vehicles, including travel trailers, fifth wheels, and Class A, B, and C motorhomes. The shop environment includes 13 service bays, a paint booth, and heated workspace. Occasional field service may be required for stranded RVs at parks or roadside locations.
Requirements:
Must-haves:
2+ years of experience in RV service or a related mechanical field
Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of RV systems and components
Ability to work on different makes, models, and model years
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a busy service environment
Nice-to-haves:
RVIA certification
Existing toolbox and hand tools
Experience with electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC-related RV repairs
Advanced RV diagnostic experience or component-specific diagnostic software
Compensation & Benefits:
$30- $50 Hourly wage plus performance-based productivity, longevity, and upsell bonuses
Productivity bonus based on collectible efficiency, with tiered payouts of up to $21 per billed hour
Longevity bonus of $0.25 per hour worked
Upsell bonus of 6% of qualifying parts and labor
RVIA certification wage increases: Level 1 +$2/hour; Levels 23 +$1/hour each; Level 4 +$2/hour
Health insurance eligibility after 60 days, including HSA contributions and matching contributions on eligible plans
Retirement plan with employer matching up to 3.5% of gross income with a 6% employee contribution
Paid Time Off: 40 hours in Year 1, 80 hours in Years 24, 120 hours in Years 59, and 160 hours after 10 years
Technician shirts provided
Hours:
MondayFriday, 8:00 AM4:30 PM
40-hour standard workweek
Overtime paid after 40 hours per week, with the workweek running SundaySaturday
Primarily shop-based with occasional field service
Reports to the Fixed Operations Manager
