Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Service Manager in Davenport, IA to lead our service department, ensuring maximum productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong leader who can manage daily operations, develop high-performing teams, and maintain a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

�� Department & Financial Management

  • Monitor financials to meet/exceed profitability goals.

  • Oversee KPIs such as shop recovery and efficiency rates.

  • Walk the shop daily to support technicians and ensure process adherence.

  • Manage WIP to maintain service goals and ensure timely job completion.

��️ Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, mentor, and retain top talent.

  • Conduct regular One-on-One meetings and performance reviews.

  • Provide coaching to improve technical skills and productivity.

�� Administrative Duties

  • Ensure communication of manufacturer updates to service personnel.

  • Approve vendor invoices, process payments, and manage credit cards.

  • Assist the Service Advisor when necessary to maintain smooth operations.

�� Customer Service Excellence

  • Conduct follow-up calls to enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Resolve escalated jobs to ensure positive outcomes.

  • Audit work orders for quality and accuracy.

⚙️ Safety & Compliance

  • Promote and enforce safety standards.

  • Investigate accidents and recommend policy changes to improve safety.

  • Customer Satisfaction (NPS)

�� Qualifications:

✅ 5–10 years of service management experience, preferably in equipment, automotive, or related industries.
✅ Strong leadership and coaching skills.
✅ Business acumen with the ability to manage financials and drive results.
✅ Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.

Compensation: $80,000-$90,000/year (mixed of salary plus commission)
