Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Service Manager for a well-established diesel truck repair facility in Columbus, Nebraska. The ideal candidate will bring experience conducting all levels of repairs and diagnostics on class 7 and 8 diesel trucks and have strong leadership skills.
The ideal Manager will be a strong leader looking after a team of 4-10 direct reports, and take ownership of day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will be organized, have strong communication skills, and put an emphasis on safety at all times.
Job Requirements:
- At least 4+ years of repair experience in addition to at least 2+ years of leadership/management experience.
- Open and close work orders and be proficient with a computer (CMMS).
- Creating detailed reports (i.e. inventory management, employee performance reviews, P&Ls, etc.).
- Scheduling daily work for technicians and training as needed.
- Auditing the quality of your repair team's work.
- Ensuring that the team is working efficiently with their time.
- Ordering parts and maintaining positive vendor relationships.
- Be able to report and communicate daily operations to the Owner.
- Assist with larger, and more complicated repairs/diagnostics when needed to minimize truck downtime.
Compensation:
- $100,000 - $130,000/Year, based on previous experience/certifications/training.

Shift:
- Day Shift, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM Start Time.
- Flexibility is required for an occasional half Saturday to help support business operations.
