Job Description

The Service Technician position is based in Vineland, NJ and involves servicing pumps, irrigation systems, farm implements, and field prep equipment powered by electric and diesel engines. The role is a mix of field work (70%) and shop-based diagnostics and repairs (30%), operating modern GM/GMC service vehicles in a moderately-paced, organized work environment with emphasis on productivity and workflow balance.

Requirements:

Must-haves:
• Minimum two years diesel engine experience (automotive, industrial, trucking, or heavy equipment)
• Valid driver's license and insurability
• Basic hand tools
• Proficiency with laptops and business software
• Ability to pass employer hiring requirements

Nice-to-haves:
• Agricultural or farm equipment background
• Diesel engine rebuild experience
• ASE or other diesel certifications
• Experience with electrical systems (120V, 240V, 480V single and three-phase power)

Compensation & Benefits:
• Wage Range: $25–$35/hour

Hours:
• In-season: 7 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday
• Off-season: 8 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday
• Alternating Saturdays being implemented (five-day work week maintained)
• Overtime available after 40 hours per week (~10 hours weekly during peak season)
• No on-call or after-hours requirements
• Service vehicle rotation; vehicle taken home depends on technician level
