Lincoln Land Community College (LLCC), located in Springfield, Illinois, is a public community college established in 1967. LLCC's Diesel Technologies program, launched in fall 2023, addresses the growing demand for skilled diesel technicians in the region. The program offers a two-year Associate in Applied Science degree, combining classroom instruction with hands-on training in state-of-the-art facilities. Students learn to maintain, diagnose, and service diesel-powered equipment, preparing for careers in industries such as agriculture, construction, and transportation.

The curriculum includes courses on electrical systems, diesel engine theory, hydraulic systems, and more. Students also complete two paid eight-week internships with local employers during their second year, gaining real-world experience and industry connections.
