Job Description: Sr. Field Technician – Mining Equipment (Washington)

About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a Sr. Field Technician to join a growing team in Washington. The role involves working on advanced mining equipment, crushing equipment, and surface drills. If you enjoy field-based work with a supportive team, this opportunity is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on mining equipment in the field, focusing on electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and emergency repairs at customer sites.
• Utilize laptops equipped with OEM diagnostic software for troubleshooting.
• Assist in shop-based repairs when not on field assignments.
• Collaborate with service managers to ensure timely and quality work.

Qualifications:

• 4-5+ years of experience as a journeyman-level technician.
• Skilled in diagnosing and repairing mining equipment, with the ability to interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Familiarity with Sandvik, Volvo, CAT etc. crushing equipment, or surface drills is an asset.
• Physically fit and able to handle fieldwork demands.
• Valid driver’s license and ownership of hand tools.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Wage: $35 - $43 per hour, with overtime paid after 8 hours per day.
• Overtime: 10+ hours weekly, based on fieldwork demands.
• Schedule: Flexible field hours; shop schedule includes 4 day work weeks with 10-hour shifts - Fridays off (Mon-Thurs OR Sun-Wed)
• Service Truck: Assigned to field mechanics; no CDL required.
