Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services on fleet vehicles and equipment in the field.
- Conduct DOT inspections, ANSI boom inspections, and dielectric testing annually per federal standards.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, air brake, wet brake, and engine systems on-site.
- Service specialized fleet assets, including forestry trucks, bucket trucks, digger derricks, and related utility vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and service documentation.
- Operate independently as a mobile technician across St. Louis, MO and the surrounding region.
- Travel regularly with 2–4 overnight stays per week based on fleet location and availability.
Requirements:

Required:
- 1+ years of experience as a diesel, automotive, or heavy equipment technician.
- Strong skills in diagnostics and repair of hydraulics, electrical, and brake systems.
- Ability to complete DOT, ANSI, and dielectric inspections (or willingness to become certified).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; capable of regular overnight regional travel.
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail in documentation.

Preferred:
- 3+ years of relevant repair experience.
- Experience servicing utility or specialty fleet vehicles (bucket trucks, digger derricks, etc.).
- Background in mobile or field service operations.
- Prior certifications in DOT, ANSI, or dielectric inspections.

Shifts

Full-time role with start times that vary daily between 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM based on customer scheduling.

Plenty of overtime available, up to 60 hours per week based on operational needs.

Regular overnight travel required (2–4 nights per week).
Compensation

Up to $35.00/hr to start (based on experience, certifications, and skill level).

Take-home service vehicle.
