A service shop in Toledo, OH is hiring a Diesel and Small Equipment Mechanic to repair diesel-powered equipment and small engines. Ideal candidates have mechanical aptitude and experience with brands like Honda, Cummins, and Stihl. Apply today!

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair 2-cycle, 4-cycle, and diesel engines (training available).
• Maintain and service equipment from Honda, Wacker Neuson, Cummins, Doosan, Gorman Rupp, and Stihl.
• Communicate with the Service Manager on job status.
• Clock in and out for jobs and maintain service records.
• Keep workspace organized and document repairs.

Requirements:

• Required:
  • Mechanical aptitude with 2+ years diesel and small equipment repair experience.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair various engine types.
  • Basic recordkeeping and teamwork skills.
• Preferred:
  • Experience with Honda, Cummins, Stihl, or similar brands.
  • Previous shop or field service experience.
