Duties & Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair medium- and heavy-duty commercial trucks, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, DEF systems, and electrical components
• Conduct preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and warranty-related service work following OEM standards
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify issues and document all repairs accurately
• Coordinate with parts and service staff to maintain efficient workflow and ensure timely job completion
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and follow all shop safety protocols
• Support inspection and prep of new and used trucks for retail or lot inventory

Requirements:

• Required:
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience servicing medium- or heavy-duty trucks in a dealership or fleet environment
  • Solid understanding of diesel engines, air brakes, suspension, and electrical diagnostics
  • Ability to perform complex repairs with minimal supervision
  • Personal tool set and familiarity with service manuals and diagnostic systems
  • Valid driver’s license and consistent availability Monday through Friday

• Preferred:
  • CDL Class B or higher, or willingness to obtain
  • Experience working on International or Battle Motors trucks
  • OEM or ASE certifications in brakes, diesel engines, or electrical systems
  • Interest in manufacturer training—OEM International training is provided for motivated techs
