Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy construction equipment and fleet vehicles.
- Service excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, pickup trucks, work trucks, and related equipment.
- Diagnose and repair diesel and gas engines, mechanical systems, and equipment performance issues.
- Complete fabrication and repair work needed to keep equipment safe, reliable, and job-ready.
- Support equipment used on pipework, mass excavation, asphalt and concrete paving, demolition, and grade work projects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment while following established safety procedures.
- Document maintenance activity, repair work, and equipment issues as needed.
Requirements
- Required:

- Experience performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy equipment, trucks, or construction fleet vehicles.
- Working knowledge of diesel engines, gas engines, mechanical systems, and general equipment repair.
- Ability to perform fabrication-related repair work as needed.
- Familiarity with construction equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, pickups, and trucks.
- Ability to work safely in a shop environment and support equipment needs for active heavy civil construction projects.
- Must complete pre-employment background checks.

Shifts
- Day shift, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
- Full-time position based out of a new shop in Williamsburg, VA
- Overtime available
Compensation
- $30.00 – $40.00/hour starting pay based on experience
- All tools and equipment needed will be provided
