Duties & Responsibilities

• Respond to mobile service calls, diagnose breakdowns, and complete safe, efficient repairs.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, fuel, cooling, electrical, starting, charging, and vehicle control systems.
• Repair air brakes, suspension, steering, wheel-end, driveline, and related truck and trailer systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, brake and tire service, lubrication, inspections, and identify additional repair needs.
• Document repairs and diagnostic findings, communicate service updates, and maintain the assigned service vehicle, tools, equipment, and inventory.

Requirements

• Required:

• • Hands-on experience repairing commercial diesel trucks, trailers, or heavy-duty equipment; this is not an entry-level role.
  • Strong diesel, electrical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with air brakes, suspension, steering, wheel-end, and driveline systems.
  • Ability to independently diagnose problems, make sound repair decisions, and complete mobile repairs with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and repair quality.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and required basic hand tools.

• Preferred:

• • Mobile diesel, heavy-duty truck, or commercial truck and trailer repair experience.
  • Diesel diagnostic software, electronic troubleshooting, DOT inspection experience, or ASE certifications.
  • CDL, welding or fabrication experience, or bilingual English/Spanish skills.
