A long-standing service operation is hiring a Diesel Technician in Windsor Locks, CT (North of Hartford) to diagnose, repair, and maintain medium- and heavy-duty vehicles. Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on medium- and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and complete mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Follow established technical and administrative processes.
• Accurately complete repair orders and parts usage documentation.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, team members, and customers.
• Stay current on technical updates and regulatory requirements.
• Perform road service calls as required.

Requirements

• Required:
• • High school diploma, technical school, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in automotive, truck, or bus repair.
  • Own and maintain the required hand tools.
  • Proficient with computer operation and usage.
  • Valid driver’s license.
