Job Description

A reputable and well-established employer is urgently seeking a Working Shop Foreman in near Greensboro, NC!

The ideal Shop Foreman will have at least 5+ years of previous technical repair experience as a Diesel Mechanic, at least 1+ years of experience in a Lead/Supervisory role, be a strong leader, and be well-versed with advanced diagnostics!

In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs to highway motorcoaches), delegating tasks, assisting junior mechanics, reporting to upper management, managing technicians, handling paperwork (including work orders), and more.

Mechanics with experience on Volvo and/or Detroit diesel engines are seen as an asset!

Mechanics with ASE and/or OEM certifications will be given preference!

Responsibilities:

• This is a 50/50 position. Working Shop Foreman will be doing repairs approximately 50% of the time.
• Maintain open communication between various levels of management.
• General diesel engine repairs.
• Advanced diagnostics (analog gauges/tools and OEM diagnostic software).
• Multiplex and CAN Bus systems.
• CDL with air brakes and passenger endorsement within 90 days of hire. (Training and assistance will be provided to pass.)

Compensation:

• $40.00 - $60.00/HR. Starting salary is based upon previous experience, certifications, and training.

Shift Schedule:

• Day Shift, 4:00 AM – 12:00PM, Monday - Friday.
