Service Advisor

Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assess vehicle concerns, service needs, and maintenance history.
- Write clear repair orders and explain recommended services in straightforward terms.
- Prepare accurate estimates using service and labor estimating tools.
- Set and manage customer expectations around repair scope, timelines, and shop capacity.
- Recommend additional maintenance or repairs based on inspections and vehicle condition.
- Communicate effectively with technicians regarding work scope, priorities, and customer concerns.
- Follow up with customers after service to confirm satisfaction and address questions.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, approvals, service recommendations, and customer interactions.
Requirements
- Required:

- Working knowledge of automotive or heavy-duty service terminology and repair processes.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, including explaining technical information clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple repair orders, estimates, and customer interactions simultaneously.
- Comfort recommending and upselling services in a professional, customer-first manner.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Familiarity with air brake systems, shocks, struts, and general truck maintenance.

7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Overtime available after 40 hours per week.

Compensation

$25.00 – $30.00/hr starting pay based on experience and training.

Monthly bonuses based on department net profit.
