Agricultural Machinery Technicians set up, diagnose, repair, overhaul, maintain, and service agricultural equipment.
Training Requirements: 7200 hours (4 years) including four 8-week training sessions delivered by SIAST Kelsey Campus in Saskatoon. An apprentice must successfully complete the required technical training and compile enough on-the-job experience to total at least 1800 hours each year.

using parts manuals, catalogues, electronic catalogues and microfiche readers
parts purchasing and storage
maintaining pre-determined inventory levels
