Certificate of Proficiency in Diesel Technology Program Summary:
Certificates of Proficiency are designed for students who want to earn specific skills in the Diesel Technology field within a short time frame. Normally, Certificates of Proficiency may be earned within one semester, but some will require more than one semester depending upon course scheduling.

Technical Certificate in Diesel Technology Program Summary:
The Diesel Technology Program provides the student with the necessary entry-level skills and theory to enter either the medium/heavy duty truck or construction equipment service/repair fields. The program is flexible to allow the student to enter at the beginning of any semester and to plan a schedule to meet his/her specific needs. Students may receive a Basic Diesel Technical Certificate after completing the required courses with a minimum of (28) twenty-eight credit hours in related Diesel Technology courses and (9) nine credit hours in related academics. Students may receive an Advanced Diesel Technology Certificate after completing an additional minimum of (28) twenty eight credit hours in Diesel Technology related courses. Upon successful completion of two semesters of coursework the student will be awarded a Technical Certificate in Basic Diesel. Upon successful completion of an additional two semesters of coursework the student will be awarded a Technical Certificate in Advanced Diesel. A student may enter the program at the beginning of any semester.
