Hitachi EX8000-6 Excavator in Mozambique

The EX8000-6 is the largest excavator made by Hitachi. This is one of two models working non-stop at Vale’s Moatize coal mine in Tete province, Mozambique. It is equipped with a 43 cubic metre coal bucket and works in temperatures exceeding 50°C.
