Job Description

A well-established company with a shop in Hamilton, ON is offering a $7,500 signing bonus in hopes of attracting a 310T Journeyman who is a team player and enjoys coming to work each day. Technicians will be responsible for PMs, inspections, diagnostics, as well as repairs and maintenance on hydraulic and electrical systems.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience working on Trucks/Trailers
• Preference for those with Commercial Vehicle inspections
• Ability to read and understand schematics is preferred
• Mechanics with strong capabilities in diesel engines, diagnostics, electrical, and hydraulic systems will be strongly preferred.
• A positive work attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work both independently and as a team are required
• Valid G License
• Personal set of tools

Compensation:

• $46.00 - $47.00/hour to start, dependent on experience
  • As Per CBA (New contract negotiations begin in mid September)
• $3/hr afternoon differential
• $7,500 Sign On Bonus for fully licensed 310T's

Shifts:

• Flexible Day or Afternoon Shifts, Monday - Friday 
• OT after 44 hours

Mechanics will be required to have their own tools, as well as be required to submit to pre-employment, prior to successful employment.
