Job Description
Seeking a 310T Journeyman in Niagara Falls, ON. This role involves performing running repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on a fleet of approximately 40 Mack trucks equipped with various body types (roll-offs, front lifts). Work is primarily shop-based with occasional field repairs at job sites. The position operates in a unionized, federally regulated environment with a well-established team structure and strong emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.
Requirements:
- Must-haves:

- 310T Journeyman certification (licensed and current)
- Valid driver's license
- Own tools
- Experience with hydraulics and electrical after-treatment systems
- Ability to operate tablet-based work order systems and diagnostic software
- Physical capability for manual labor in a heavy equipment environment
- Pass background check, criminal record check, and drug screening (zero tolerance for marijuana)
- Nice-to-haves:

- Mack manufacturer training or back-training
- Master technician certification
- Tire service experience
- Experience with Mack Tech Tool, Allison Diagnostics, or similar diagnostic platforms
- CVIP inspection familiarity
Compensation & Benefits:
- Wage: $54.45/hour
- Overtime: After 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week
- Medical Leave: 10 days paid annually
- Vacation: 2 weeks (4% per collective agreement)
- Canada Labor Code Days: 3 paid, 2 unpaid
- Float Days: 3 personal days
- Total PTO: 26 days annually
- Sick Days: Carryover accrual (non-paid payout)

Hours:
- Shift: Second shift, 2:30 pm 11:00 pm
- Overtime: Minimal, approximately 05 hours/week (typically 15 minutes/day)
- On-Call Rotation: Saturdays and statutory holidays based on seniority (4-hour phone stipend if called in; overtime pay for actual work)
- Work Environment: Mix of shop work (3 bays, 1 pit, no lifting devices) and occasional field repairs; no service truck taken home
