Duties & Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, drivetrains, brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical systems on buses and fleet vehicles.
• Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, overhauls, and scheduled repairs.
• Ensure vehicles meet DOT safety standards and are safe, reliable, and ready for daily service.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform on-site diagnostics and repairs as needed.
• Complete work orders accurately while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Use diagnostic tools and computer systems to identify and resolve mechanical issues.

Requirements

• Required:

• • 2+ years of hands-on diesel vehicle maintenance and repair experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability with diesel engines, brake systems, and electrical components.
  • Must be able to meet DOT and employment screening requirements.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 18 years old.

• Preferred:

• • Experience working on buses or fleet vehicles.
  • CDL Class B license or ability to obtain.
  • Experience performing road calls or field repairs.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic software and electronic maintenance systems.
