Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform shop and field repairs on off-highway heavy equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Complete preventive maintenance, inspections, and functional testing to keep equipment safe and reliable.
• Identify faults, determine repair plans, and complete repairs efficiently to reduce downtime.
• Document repairs and service details using computer-based work order systems.
• Work independently or with the team to maintain a safe, efficient shop environment.

Requirements

• Required:

• • Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician certification.
  • Strong experience diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of off-highway heavy equipment.
  • Comfortable using diagnostic tools and digital work order systems.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
  • Must provide a personal toolbox and trade tools.
  • Clear communication skills, safe work habits, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
