Duties & Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, including Freightliner, Volvo, and related heavy-duty truck systems.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, brake systems, electrical systems, diesel systems, and DPF components.
• Complete oil changes, filter replacements, preventative maintenance, and routine service work.
• Prepare vehicles for required inspections and ensure repairs meet safety and road-readiness standards.
• Keep accurate records of completed repairs, maintenance, and service work.

Requirements:

• Required:

• • 2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic working on heavy-duty trucks and/or trailers.
  • Experience with diesel diagnostics, electrical repairs, brake systems, DPF service, and preventative maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with team members.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and safety-focused work habits.
  • Proficiency using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, repair manuals, and maintenance records.

• Preferred:

• • Diesel technology certificate, vocational training, or other relevant diesel repair certifications.
  • Experience with hydraulics, HVAC, and air brake systems.
