Job Description

An established heavy equipment repair company is hiring a Traveling Field Oiler / Fueler in Phoenix, AZ for fly-in / fly-out field work in Nogales, AZ. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform daily preventive maintenance, fueling, and lubrication services on heavy construction equipment in remote field locations.
  • Service equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, scrapers, and similar machines.
  • Check, top off, and replace engine oil, hydraulic fluid, coolant, transmission fluid, DEF, and other vital fluids.
  • Change oil, fuel, air, and hydraulic filters according to maintenance schedules.
  • Complete walk-around inspections to identify mechanical issues, damage, leaks, or safety concerns.
  • Operate and maintain service and fuel trucks while tracking records, managing supplies, and handling used fluids safely.

 

Requirements

  • Required:
    • 3+ years of experience performing oiling, fueling, and preventive maintenance on heavy construction or mining equipment.
    • Hands-on experience servicing fluids, filters, and lubrication points on heavy equipment.
    • Ability to complete equipment inspections and report mechanical defects, leaks, damage, or safety concerns.
    • Ability and willingness to work a fly-in / fly-out travel-based role.
    • Ability to work outdoors in remote or challenging field environments.
    • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb on and off large equipment.
    • Strong safety focus and consistent use of proper PPE.
  • Preferred:
    • Valid Class A or B CDL.
    • Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.

Shifts

  • 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation
  • Fly-in / fly-out travel-based role
  • Field-based work at customer and job sites

Compensation

  • $40.00 – $50.00/hour starting pay, based on previous experience, training, and certifications
  • Overtime paid after 8 hours per day
  • Weekly pay
  • Tax-free stipend / per diem of approximately $1,500 – $2,000 per month
  • Assigned company truck
  • Benefits:
