Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on light-, medium-, and heavy-duty trucks.
• Handle major repairs and complex troubleshooting to keep fleet vehicles safe, reliable, and in service.
• Service a broad mix of commercial and government fleet vehicles, including straight trucks, buses, and trailers.
• Inspect vehicles, identify repair needs, and test completed work to confirm safe and reliable operation.
• Support shop leadership by troubleshooting difficult repairs, helping oversee workflow, and providing direction to other technicians when needed.
• Complete work safely and efficiently in a primarily shop-based repair environment.

• • 3+ years of hands-on diesel mechanic experience with light-, medium-, or heavy-duty trucks.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting experience with the ability to handle preventive maintenance and major repairs.
  • Comfortable working across a broad range of truck makes, fleet vehicles, buses, and trailers.
  • Strong initiative, problem-solving ability, and dependable work habits.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with technicians and shop leadership.
  • Ability to support shop workflow, help troubleshoot difficult repairs, and take on additional leadership responsibilities as needed.
