Job Description

We are seeking experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics for our shop in Sanford, Florida. You'll work in a clean, well-organized four-bay facility equipped with welders, air compressors, and diagnostic tools. The role involves maintaining and repairing rental and customer trucks, working in a collaborative, calm team environment.

Requirements:

Must-Haves:

• Minimum 5 years of heavy duty diesel mechanic experience
• Air brake systems diagnosis and service expertise
• DOT inspection certification or eligibility
• Commercial Driver's License (at least one of two positions)
• Own hand tools
• Electrical repair and diagnostics experience preferred

Nice-to-Haves:

• Hydro truck and vacuum truck experience
• PTO (Power Take-Off) knowledge
• Welding and fabrication skills
• JPRO and Cummins Insight software proficiency
• HVAC experience with EPA 609 certification
• Previous shop leadership or team lead experience

Compensation & Benefits:

• Wage: $36–$40/hour (negotiable for candidates with proven leadership experience)
• 401(k): 2% match (begins after 6 months)

• PTO: 80 hours annually (20 hours per quarter)

• Boot and safety glasses allowance: ~$200/year
• Uniforms: Supplied (pants and shirt)
• Overtime: 5–10 hours/week available (paid after 40 hours)

Hours:

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Occasional service calls with fully equipped service trucks (no on-call requirement)
• No lifts or overhead cranes; primarily shop-based work
• Clean, organized work environment is a priority
