Job Description

A successful repair and maintenance facility has an immediate opening for an experienced Diesel Mechanic near Boston, MA to work on its fleet of diesel trucks.

The company is looking for an experienced and preferably certified mechanic with at least 4+ years of relevant working experience on diesel, after-treatment hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to perform a variety of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.

Qualifications: 

•  
• MUST BE ABLE TO READ SCHEMATICS AND BLUEPRINTS 
• 4+ years of experience performing repairs on relevant diesel systems 
• Knowledge and experience using diagnostic software to assist with troubleshooting and repairs
• Strong verbal and documentation skills 
• Can work well with others

Responsibilities: 

•  
• Perform fleet repairs including but not limited to:
  •  
  • Preventative maintenance (oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication) 
  • Diagnostics 
  • ABS and braking system repairs 
  • Hydraulic repairs 
  • Light engine repairs 
  • Pneumatic repairs 

Compensation: 

• $30 - $40/hour. Starting wage based on prior relevant work experience

Shifts:

• Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm. OT available after 40 hours and based off of seasonal requirements.
