Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on boom lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts, telehandlers, and related rental equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control system faults.
• Troubleshoot CAN bus networks, electric-over-hydraulic controls, and related systems.
• Service and repair diesel and dual-fuel engines, including fuel, air, cooling, and exhaust systems.
• Disassemble, repair, and rebuild hydraulic and mechanical components such as pumps, gearboxes, and cylinders.
• Complete inspections, testing, load checks, service records, and parts documentation to support safe, reliable fleet operation.

Requirements

• Required:

• • Heavy equipment repair experience with transferable skills from fleet, rental, truck, construction, or industrial equipment environments.
  • Working knowledge of CAN bus systems, electric-over-hydraulic controls, and related equipment systems.
  • Hands-on experience repairing diesel and dual-fuel engines.
  • Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical repair skills.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Dependable team player with safe work habits and the ability to work independently.

• Preferred:

• • 3+ years of hands-on experience servicing aerial lifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, or telehandlers.
  • 421A or 310T trade license.
  • Previous experience in a rental equipment or fleet service environment.
