An established heavy equipment repair company is hiring an Underground Heavy Equipment Mechanic in Elko, NV to maintain and repair equipment supporting underground and mine-site operations. Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment supporting underground and mine-site operations.
• Dispatch from the Elko shop to underground and mine sites throughout Northeastern Nevada.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in field and mine-site environments.
• Complete preventive maintenance, component repairs, and general equipment service as needed.
• Travel to assigned sites using a company-provided light-duty service truck.
• Support daily equipment service and repair priorities at customer and mine locations.

Requirements

• Required:

• • Proven hands-on experience maintaining and repairing heavy equipment.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform heavy equipment repairs at underground and mine-site locations.
  • Ability to work at customer and mine locations throughout Northeastern Nevada.
  • Ability to dispatch from the Elko, NV shop to assigned sites.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on service needs.
