Job Description

We are seeking a Field Service Diesel Mechanic because our beloved technician is retiring.  We need someone capable of diagnosing, maintaining, repairing and overhauling our fleet of marine vessels and equipment which are powered by Diesel Engines in excess of 600 to 1,000 HP.  Our Fleet is located near Atlantic City and the shop is near Vineland. Some work is performed in a well ventilated and lit, as well as organized and heated shop while the majority is while the vessels are in drydock at a marina.  Please reach out if you are a Journeyman Level Heavy Diesel Technician of any stripe and you are eager to join close-knit and well-run privately owned business.  This is an opportunity that is fit for someone who is looking to join a company  as opposed to simply work for one.

Requirements:

Must-haves:
• 8–10 years of diesel mechanic experience
• Class A Master Mechanic Technician
• Strong diesel engine diagnostic and repair experience
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and electrical systems
• In-depth diagnostic and precision measurement skills
• Own tools
• Valid driver's license

Compensation & Benefits:

• $45–$50/hour 
• Family Health insurance, 80 percent paid for by the company
• 2 weeks vacation/PTO after 6 months
• 401(k) with 4% match on 5% employee contribution; fully vested
• Overtime at 1.5x after 40 hours

Hours:

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Weekend work required
• Average of up to 10 hours of overtime available each week
