Job Description

We are actively looking for an experienced Field Service Technician able to diagnose and repair fork trucks, heavy equipment and diesel engines to join an established and reputable employer in Middle River MD!

This is an excellent role for an experienced heavy diesel mechanic to continue with their specialty. Mechanics with Technical School Degrees, Field Service, A.S.E. certifications, and/or OEM certifications are seen as an asset, but it is not required.

Job Requirements:

• 3+ recent years of experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing heavy-duty lifts, equipment, rail car movers, and fork trucks.
• Must have experience with diagnosing, repairing and maintaining in the field.
• Direct service experience with brands such as Linde, Terex, Taylor, CASE or others is an asset. 
• Hydraulic, Diesel & Electrical system maintenance, component replacement, and repair experience.
• Experience utilizing OEM diagnostic software to troubleshoot faults.
• Welding and fabrication experience is an asset.
• Valid driver's license.

Compensation:

• $38.00 - $55.00/hour to start. Wages vary depending on experience level.
• Insurance plus Vision, Dental
• Take home Service Truck + Gas Card, Cell Phone & Laptop.

Shifts:

• Day Shift, 7:00am - 4:30pm, Monday – Friday.
• OT is frequent and available after 40 hours/week.
• Occasional Saturdays based on operational needs.

The successful mechanic will be subject to pre-employment background and MVI checks.
