Job Description

Seeking a Forklift Technician in Morton, IL — Shop-based position servicing used LP gas and diesel-powered forklifts, including Caterpillar, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Hyster, Yale, and Toyota. Work includes mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and fuel-system repairs in a well-equipped shop with dedicated technician bays.

Requirements:
Must-haves:
• Own toolbox and hand tools up to ½" drive
• Ability to perform mechanical repairs and maintenance

Nice-to-haves:
• Experience working on engines, hydraulic systems, drum brakes, and basic electrical systems
• Forklift, heavy equipment, automotive, or semi-truck repair experience
• Experience with hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic hoses, LP fuel systems, or electrical diagnostics

Compensation & Benefits:
• $25–$50/hour (base $25–$50/hour; overtime adds 1.5x regular rate)
• $600/year tool allowance

Hours:
