A long-established commercial truck dealership in Frederick, MD is hiring a Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic equipment
• Troubleshoot diesel engine malfunctions and perform necessary repairs
• Conduct vehicle inspections to support safety and environmental compliance
• Perform preventive maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and routine service
• Collaborate with fellow technicians to prioritize repairs and maintain efficient shop workflows
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of diesel engine systems and electrical components
• Familiarity with diesel diagnostic tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Valid driver’s license required
• Physical ability to lift heavy components and work in varying shop conditions

Preferred:

• 1+ year of experience as a Diesel Technician
• Previous diesel dealership experience
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
