Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and light to moderate diesel repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and determine appropriate repairs
• Complete truck and trailer repairs based on work orders, reported concerns, and diagnostic findings
• Shop Technicians will support day-to-day fleet maintenance and repairs in a shop environment
• Diagnostic Technicians will handle diagnostics and troubleshooting and provide local mobile maintenance, repairs, and technical support as needed
• Complete repairs efficiently, communicate equipment concerns clearly, and help minimize fleet downtime

Requirements

• Required:

• • 2+ years of hands-on diesel repair and maintenance experience
  • Diesel technician training or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience maintaining and repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers
  • Working knowledge of diesel, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose problems and determine appropriate repairs
  • Must own a toolbox and the personal tools required for the role
  • Valid driver’s license, strong communication skills, safe work habits, and a self-motivated approach
