Job Description

An Industry leading company is seeking a Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic to join their team in the area east of Atlanta, GA. Technicians will be responsible for inspections, diagnostics, as well as maintenance and repairs on Engines, Final Drives, Transmissions, Hydraulics, Electrical, and Aftertreatment and Emissions systems.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Field Service experience working on Heavy Equipment, Truck and Trailer
• Preference for those with CAT ET & SIS as well as Advanced aftertreatment and emissions system experience
• Ability to read schematics, manuals, diagrams as well as familiarity with CAN bus 
• Strong capabilities in diagnosing, calibrating and repairing diesel engines, transmissions and final drives
• A positive work attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work both independently and as a team are required
• Welding and fabrication experience 
• Possess own tools, clean and valid drivers license as well as ability to pass backgrounds

Compensation:

• $30.00 - $40.00/hour paid port to port
• Take home service vehicle

Shifts:

• Monday - Friday on Day Shift, 7:00AM - 5:00PM 
• OT paid after 40 hours per week
• Lots of OT available
