Job Description

A well-established company with 90+ years of business throughout the United States is seeking Heavy Equipment and/or Generator Mechanics to join their team in St. Louis, MO. Technicians will be responsible for PMs, inspections, diagnostics, as well as repairs and maintenance on hydraulic and electrical systems.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience working on Heavy Equipment and/or Generators or a combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and understand schematics is preferred
• Mechanics with the ability to rebuild components or a strong background with electrical and hydraulic systems will be given preference
• Mechanics with strong capabilities in diesel engines and diagnostics will be strongly preferred.
• A positive work attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work both independently and as a team are required
• Mechanic will posses strong customer service skills and contribute daily to the representation and overall growth of the company
• Welding is an asset
• Personal set of tools

Compensation:

• $30.00 - $35.00/hour to start, dependent on experience

Shifts:

• Day Shifts
• 5x8 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday
• 4x10 6:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday

Mechanics will be required to undergo training provided by the company. Must have their own tools, as well as be required to submit to background, drug/physical, and DOT history check, and essential functions/lift test prior to successful employment.
