A well-established construction company near Farley, Iowa is expanding and looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics to join their growing team. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with a reputable employer that values quality workmanship, teamwork, and technical skill.

Whether you’ve worked on compact loaders or large excavators, if you’re confident with hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnosing complex mechanical issues, we want to hear from you. Automotive or diesel technicians with strong electrical skills and a desire to advance are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain construction and earthmoving equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting on hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
• Rebuild, remove, and install components using proper tools and techniques
• Ensure all repairs meet safety and reliability standards

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience working with heavy equipment or similar machinery
• Strong hydraulic and electrical diagnostic skills
• Ability to read and interpret wiring and hydraulic schematics
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset
• Proficiency using hand and power tools

Compensation & Benefits:

• $28.00 – $41.00/hour to start (based on experience and certifications)
• Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
• Comprehensive benefits package including Health, Vision, Dental, Life Insurance, and 401K
• 3 weeks of paid time off to start
• Annual boot and tool allowance ($1,000)
• Uniforms provided

Shift: 

• Day Shift, 7:00AM - 5:00PM, flexible start times, no weekends!
