Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Diesel and CNG-powered trucks, including engines, electrical, hydraulic, fuel, propane, and emissions systems.
- Lead inspections of brakes, engines, steering, wheel bearings, emissions systems, and other critical components to keep trucks safe and service-ready.
- Perform DOT and brake inspections and verify repairs meet operating and safety requirements.
- Review mechanical write-ups, prioritize repairs, coordinate repair schedules, and help ensure work orders are completed efficiently.
- Use diagnostic software, electrical schematics, service manuals, and testing procedures to identify complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Mentor Level B and C mechanics, complete work orders and parts requests, and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
Requirements
- Required:

- 5+ years of diesel/CNG truck maintenance and repair experience.
- Strong troubleshooting experience with engines, electrical, hydraulic, fuel, propane, brake, and emissions systems.
- Brake safety certificate and Section 609 A/C certification.
- Must have a Class A or B CDL or be willing and able to obtain one within six months of employment.
- Ability to interpret detailed electrical schematics and service information and use diagnostic software and computer-based service systems.
- Working knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and applicable state and federal safety requirements.
- Able to perform physical truck repairs, work around heavy equipment, lift up to 50 lbs, and push or pull up to 100 lbs.

Shifts
- 2nd shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Overtime available after 40 hours per week
Compensation
- $21.00 – $36.00/hour starting pay based on experience, certifications, and training
- Ongoing training and company-provided uniforms
