Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and basic mechanical repairs on the company’s fleet of gasoline and diesel delivery trucks.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and plant equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues affecting industrial equipment and machinery.
• Perform stick welding and fabrication work to repair or restore mechanical components as needed.
• Conduct field service and equipment repairs as needed, including work at company facilities throughout Hawaii.
• Follow established safety procedures when performing maintenance and repairs, including operating scissor lifts when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on mechanical maintenance experience involving commercial vehicles, industrial equipment, or related machinery.
• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery in a manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance and mechanical repairs on gasoline and diesel delivery trucks.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with experience diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, including basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Experience with stick welding and mechanical component repair or fabrication.
• Strong problem-solving skills and English communication skills for working with coworkers and customers.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and physical examination.

Preferred:

• Military experience involving industrial machinery maintenance, mechanical systems, or electrical work.
