Duties & Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot engine, transmission, and electrical issues using diagnostic software and testing equipment across multiple makes and models.
• Perform preventative maintenance, including routine inspections, oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks, to minimize breakdowns and keep equipment in service.
• Inspect power units and chassis to support Federal Motor Carrier and DOT compliance standards.
• Service and repair air brake systems, steering and suspension, cooling systems, fuel systems, drivetrains, and related components.
• Maintain and repair private chassis assets, heavy-load equipment, and gensets used for reefer container operations.
• Accurately document labor hours, parts used, and completed repairs in the company’s maintenance management system.

Requirements

• Required:

• • 3+ years of experience as a Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engine components, electrical systems, diagnostics, and hydraulic braking.
  • Must have a complete set of standard hand tools required for the trade.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
  • CDL Class A required, along with a Tanker or Hazmat endorsement.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.
